Tasmania ARAFMI offers day and evening support groups in Hobart.
The support group offer courses and workshops relating to mental illness and the carer's role. The workshops are interactive, practical and respond to the needs of family carers. We have the following information on the services offered by ARAFMI in TAS.

Newsletter
There is a general cost between $4.40 to $33.00 for the newsletter that is published six times a year. The newsletter often contains relevant articles, new research, lectures, speeches or meetings, development of state mental health resources and what they have been up to, listings of state mental health resources, developments in ARAFMI, an editorial, and a your story section.

Library
The reference library offered at Tasmania ARAFMI is small but useful and informative, with many relevant titles on hand. There have been some recent arrivals to the library and they are at present available for photocopying. Some of the books available at ARAFMI Tasmania are;

Support Groups
ARAFMI in Hobart meets:
o every 2nd Thursday of the month at 7:30pm
at 97 Campbell Street, Hobart Tasmania.
o every last Friday of each month at 12:30 – 1:30pm
at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
