This online project was recruiting participants 16 years old and over until the end of April 2012.

This online survey by SANE Australia investigates the challenges of being the parent (mum or dad) of a school-age child, when you have a mental illness. The previous entry has been replaced on the research projects page.
 

eCentreClinic OCD Course

The eCentreClinic at Macquarie University, is conducting a research trial to compare the relative benefits of a treatment course delivered via a workbook compared with the same materials delivered via the internet. This notice ceased to have effect in mid February, 2012 and was removed then.
 

eCentre Clinic PTSD Course

The eCentreClinic at the Centre for Emotional Health, Macquarie University, is conducting a research trial that will compare two online treatments for PTSD. Recruitment of participants was completed in mid-October 2011.
 

eCentreClinic OCD Course

A research trial that will compare the relative benefits of a treatment course for OCD that is delivered via a workbook compared with the same materials delivered via the internet. Recruitment of participants was completed in mid-October 2011.
 

eCentreClinic Pain Course

The aim of this study is to measure the benefits of the new Pain Course to help reduce symptoms of depression and anxiety in people with chronic pain. Recruitment of participants was completed in mid-October 2011.
 

Monash Alfred Psychiatry Research Centre Study

Research to examine whether ElectroVestibulography (EVestG) could be used as an objective means of diagnosing patients with depression and bipolar affective disorder.
 

Psychological Distress in Athletes

Sports Injury, Retirement and Life Changes Research Project.

The intention of this research project was to gain insight into the stories of athletes who have experienced sports injury, retirement and/or life changes.
 

Self Concept & Emotions

This study was conducted through Swinburne University.  It explores how people’s view of themselves and the way they generally feel in relationships affects their ability to manage their emotions, and the strategies they use to deal with stressful situations.  

It involved completing an online questionnaire – so an easy one to participate in and help out with!
